Riding the digital wave and increasing face-to-face communication

An open-plan office design is boosting our team spirit and is taking ad pepper to the next level. We’ve moved, but we’re still the same old Peppers! C becomes D – our new address is Frankenstrasse 150D.

What’s the low down on ad pepper’s new office? More and more meetings are being held digitally with the help of touchscreens, remote working, ClickShare and special tools we can no longer imagine working without. At the same time, our new office needs to offer the ideal real-life antidote to all that because, despite the pace of change, face-to-face communication will become increasingly important in the digital age.

We are growing and changing… and this also needs to be reflected in our new home.

We often spend more time in our offices than we do on our own sofa, so we might as well make things comfortable. And that’s exactly what we’ve done by adding more room to evolve, the latest technology, lots of peace and quiet, and inspiring creative corners. We’ve created an innovative, modern and relaxing atmosphere where we all feel at home. Our beautiful new rooms and all the finishing touches should give everyone another reason to jump out of bed in the morning and look forward to spending some time in the office.

Susanne Pilz (Managing Director of ad pepper media Germany): “Many recent studies have shown that a company’s office space can have a hugely positive effect on staff well-being and happiness and on their general job satisfaction. Open-plan offices – with a spacious kitchen and an inviting large table so you can chat with your colleagues or a fabulously designed, cosy seating area – are ideal for bringing staff together. They encourage spontaneous conversations, undoubtedly boosting creativity.”

Oh yes, it’s Monday!

Work has changed. It’s no longer somewhere to be stuck from 9 to 5 just so you can make a living, only to return home in a foul mood, counting down the years to when you can retire at 67. The days of waiting exhaustedly for the weekend are over and Monday is a day to look forward to like any other. It’s all about making the most of your time, both in and out of work. Managing Director Susanne Pilz no longer only sees the office as a place where just traditional business tasks need to be done. These days, modern offices are spaces where people network and come together. Studies show that the more 1:1 meetings there are between colleagues, the easier it is to find successful solutions during daily working life.

Inner qualities are important to us, but we don’t want to ignore the rest. Call us superficial, but looking good on the outside makes all the difference. In love and work, people who feel a sense of pleasure, happiness and enjoyment stay, grow and do GREAT things. “I was completely blown away, I mean, just WOW, it feels liberating,” says Rosi (PR and Marketing). Her obvious excitement at moving into our new homely office comes even before everything is in place: “It’s been turned into a seriously cool, open workspace with a loft-like feel to it.”

The top 10 favourite parts of the office as voted for by the Peppers:

Fresh premises for fresh ideas. ad pepper has moved or, to be more precise, we’ve found our new home. And what exactly has changed now that we’ve moved? It seems like everything… on that we all agree. Our strong team has more power than ever before and we’ve found our added spice to keep us going for the next 20 years. Our workspace for the future, for a team with a bright future ahead of it. It’s surprising how a few new rooms can have such an impact :) We’ve only moved next door but those few metres have made such a difference. They’re allowing us to move with the times, to help shape change and to set new standards with our new open space. A feel-good atmosphere at our desks – everything is cooler than it was before and we feel an even greater sense of togetherness. Ideas need space to grow and that’s exactly what we’ve created. And, oh yes, even Henry is happy. Our top dog has finally found his happy place… it turns out our new home is a paradise for our office pug too!
