At 7. & May 8, ad pepper was a participant for the ninth time and an exhibitor for the fifth time in a row at the Online Marketing Rockstars in Hamburg, Europe’s leading event for digital marketing.

Of course we didn’t want to miss the place where the online marketing scene meets, discovers new topics and celebrates parties, and after several weeks of intensive preparations we started our journey full of anticipation.

Hamburg showed itself from its most beautiful side

… with blue sky and sunshine we started into the first day of the fair. The view of the Alster from the breakfast table compensated for the fact that the day started for the Peppers already shortly before 6 am. But as we all know, the early bird catches the worm – and so we arrived at the exhibition center on time for the set-up. We were briefly slowed down at the check-in, there was double trouble at the OMR trouble desk: two Peppers had forgotten their IDs! The problem was quickly resolved, we were granted access and on we went.

Hall B6, booth E11 was our stomping ground for the next two days.

There the packages with our complete exhibition equipment were already ready. Suspiciously smooth process, if you thought in comparison to the delivery problems and nervous strain from last year… What’s the catch? – we asked ourselves. Spoiler: there was not a single one during the two days and we were able to start the fair without any complications. Lucky us!

The major construction project “Candy Bar” was started. Because to celebrate ad pepper’s 20th birthday, we threw a birthday party at OMR – but the visitors got the presents! There was candy galore, balloons, greeting cards and lollipop chargers – cordless rechargers with a red and white sugar look.

Even though setting up the booth was no walk in the park, we are very proud of our talented Candy-Men who energetically built it up in no time. The visitors also liked the result, as they did not spare compliments such as “Your stand caught my eye immediately!” and “This is the first one I really like!”. After two days of the fair, our candy bar was empty and all giveaways were sold out. A nice confirmation for our marketing team that the intensive work on the trade show appearance in the run-up was worthwhile.
