Effective 17 September 2014, ad pepper media International N.V. will sell its marketing business unit to Ströer Digital Media, where it will be bundled into the new unit ‘mediasquares Ströer.’ mediasquares is a leading specialized marketing company in the field of product and service provider searches with clients such as markt.de, billiger.de, gelbeseiten.de, telefonbuch.de, and dasoertliche.de. The well-performing portfolio reaches more than 17 million unique users, ranking it No. 11 in the listing of marketing companies.

ad pepper has operated in Germany since 1999 as an online marketing business. The company’s outreach had experienced sustained growth, which is why it established a new unit, mediasquares, for the business in the spring of 2014. Bundling the portfolio with Ströer Digital Media is a demonstration of how the specialized marketing company has reached the peak of its growth potential. The jointly managed portfolio will be the market leader in the field of product and service provider searches. The focus will lie on directory media, classifieds, marketplaces, and price comparison sites.

ad pepper media International N.V. will work closely with Ströer Digital Media in technology developments, as well. A concept for sharing data is being developed as part of the cooperation on marketing activities.
