White goods from AEG/Electrolux get digital marketing upgrade

Nuremberg, November 19, 2021. ad pepper, the online specialist, has reconnected the e-commerce division of household goods manufacturer AEG and expanded its digital sales network. Thanks above all to the company’s own adCreator advertising software, costs are reduced and increased sales are targeted.

How to sell washing machines & co. online nowadays? Technically, of course, this is no problem at all, but following a realignment of the e-commerce department at AEG/ Electrolux, the household goods manufacturer was on the lookout for new online marketing experts.

ad pepper had evaluated AEG’s current online store and derived many new ideas as well as possible online marketing measures. It quickly became clear to both sides that nothing stood in the way of the two companies working together.

The main goal was to increase the sales of AEG products in the online store of the main site www.aeg.de. To this end, a test campaign was initially set up in order to better evaluate future cooperation.

To improve online marketing with the help of an ad pepper campaign, AEG opted for a newsletter campaign as a test. Through this campaign, several of AEG’s goals were covered at once. On the one hand, the pool of new newsletter subscribers was expanded, and on the other hand, sales of current focus products were increased. Expanding the newsletter pool not only increases customer loyalty, but also the potential to convert the new customers gained into regular customers.
