Nuremberg, December 16, 2021- Right at launch, ad pepper media celebrates a great success with its new product iLocal: For Gustavo Gusto, the new hot product brought significantly higher brand awareness and really fired up the oven for two new types of pizza.

Dinner is served: The mix of various location-based advertising methods also makes a pretty good pizza topping. For those who enjoy Programmatic DOOH Advertising topped with Geo Cleverness, iLocal is the place to be. With this recipe, the calculation (and the dough) for Gustavo Gusto also worked out exactly.

The frozen pizza manufacturer is known for its cheeky advertising campaigns and was recently awarded the Effie Gold and Grand Effie Award 2021 for them. It was therefore a particularly sharp challenge for ad pepper to support Gustavo Gusto’s creative and witty marketing ideas with equally efficient digital marketing strategies. The latest in-house product – iLocal – was tailor-made for this.

iLocal stands for location-based advertising. This means addressing the target group at exactly the right time and in the right place. Exclusive digital out-of-home placements combined with individual advertising media are the be-all and end-all for this form of advertising.

For example, ad pepper flanked the Germany-wide Gustavo Gusto campaign for “Salame Piccante” and “Prosciutto e Ananas” with a well-conceived and delivered online campaign. This reached the target group primarily at the point of sale – i.e. directly in the supermarket at the frozen food counter.

It was therefore not surprising that significant success was achieved in terms of store visit rate and brand awareness. The result in figures:

– 22 percent more brand awareness for Gustavo Gusto compared to market leaders in frozen pizzas
– Increase in store visit rate by 63 percent
– Nearly 18 million contact opportunities on EDEKA screens
