The ad pepper media business unit recently reported dynamic growth of 30 percent in the past business year. According to the latest figures for the first three months of the current business year (2018), this growth rate has greatly further increased by another 58 percent. The Managing Directors leading teams in Spain and the DACH region achieved turnover of around €2.5 million for the quarter, which corresponds to a third of the turnover achieved for the entire preceding business year. As such, the ad pepper media business unit is making a great contribution to the positive development of the Group as a whole (ad pepper media International N.V.).

Alongside existing customers such as Telefónica, Orange, Vodafone, Direct Line, and Anesvad, ad pepper media has won a large number of new customers around the world, such as BAUR and the non-profit-organisation SOS Children’s Villages. Moreover, the products introduced in 2017, particularly Performance Display Advertising (PDA), have continued to develop in a very positive way. Susanne Pilz, who took over as Managing Director of the DACH region last year, did a great deal to promote this product innovation.

The Nuremberg-based performance marketing agency is reinforcing its Executive Board with the appointment of new Managing Director Susanne Pilz. Pilz will be in charge of overseeing the ongoing strategic and operative development of the company and making further inroads into the German-speaking market.

Susanne Pilz has worked at ad pepper media since 2003 and was essential to the development of the Group’s performance division. She has occupied many roles in her time at the company, most prominently as Head of Performance. In this capacity, Pilz served as the strategic contact for lead generation, content marketing and performance display advertising for many years.

Dr. Jens Körner takes over as CEO of the ad pepper media group

Dr. Jens Körner appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ad pepper media International N.V. and sole member of the group’s Management Board.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Jens Körner has for the past ten years managed the finances of the ad pepper media group. In this capacity, he accompanied the group’s turnaround and was a key player in making a success of this. The strategic realignment of the performance marketing group led to record sales of EUR 61,164k in 2016 – the highest figure in the company’s history.

Jens Körner has been a member of the Management Board of ad pepper media International N.V. since November 2006 and previously already played a major role in shaping the company’s IPO. As CEO, he will succeed Dr. Ulrike Handel, who left the group’s Management Board at the end of February.

With his longstanding experience, Jens Körner will work on sustainably developing the ad pepper media group, which comprises the companies ad pepper media, Webgains, and ad agents. In his new role as CEO, he will be focusing on the strategic expansion of the individual performance marketing companies and on enhancing proprietary technologies. He will also be investigating opportunities for suitable acquisitions aimed at further promoting the group’s growth.

ad pepper media International N.V. has named Vin Bhardwaj as Managing Director of ad pepper media United Kingdom Ltd., effective immediately.

In his role as MD, Vin Bhardwaj will drive forward the expansion of ad pepper media UK’s business and the development of new products. In his previous position as Vice President Sales Europe at SteelHouse (American performance marketing display platform) he was responsible for SteelHouse’s entry into the European market and for developing the company’s strategy, including sales, marketing, and operations across Europe. Prior to that, he served as Vice President Sales UK at Fox Networks (ad network) and Vice President European Sales at Utarget (ad network).

Industry specialists join the ad pepper media Group

Effective immediately, Jens Oberbeck will take over as Managing Director of ad pepper media Deutschland GmbH and assume responsibility for ad pepper media Germany, mediasquares, and Webgains Germany (affiliate marketing). In his role as MD, Jens Oberbeck will drive forward the expansion of the ad pepper media Group’s business in Germany. In his previous roles at InMobi (General Manager DACH) and Vibrant Media (Head of Agency Sales), he was responsible for positioning, performance, and brand sales to direct customers, agencies and app developers as well as publisher acquisition.

Jens Oberbeck is a marketing expert in the areas of branding and performance. In his last role, he was involved in building up the growing mobile advertising market in the DACH region.
